Steve Burrows, Principal
Arup

Steve Burrows is the leader of Arup’s Property Business in the Americas and a member of the Americas Regional Board of Arup. He is based in San Francisco and he also leads a number of major multidisciplinary projects both here and around the world. He has almost 30 years of experience and has been involved in a wide range of projects from sport, leisure and arts facilities, mixed use, commercial buildings, retail and leisure developments, hotels, airports and light industrial parks.

He was Project Director for the Bird’s Nest Stadium in Beijing. In 2009, Steve was awarded a CBE by Queen Elizabeth II, for services to civil engineering overseas.
